I just read the issue. I applaud your energy and desire to make a change. Two comments. One: I was saddened to find evidence of a particularly harmful attitude pervading the issue. That attitude is that you are children. You're not. By age 18, if not well before, you are adults. The same forces that attempt to preserve the current privilege and power structure in America are also attempting to infantalize you, and apparently they are succeeding. Two: What you are doing cannot result in change. You are playing into their hands. They have attempted to convince you that to make a change, you must have anti-capitalist, anti-law, anti-individualist, anti-greed revolution. In fact, capitalism, the rule of law, individualism, and greed are the new ideas that could change the world. The so-called radical ideas of affirmative action, class warfare, and socialized property seen throughout the current issue are, in fact, ancient ideas used by those in power to oppress those who are not.
